Worship

Pupils at St. Mary's take part in an act of Worship every day. This is a vital aspect of our life at St. Mary's where pupils are given the opportunity to pray, celebrate, sing and reflect with one another.

 

Worship over the course of the week follows the following structure. Please visit the calendar on our homepage to keep updated on which classes will be involved on a week-by-week basis. 

Monday	KS2 staff-led Celebration of the Word
Tuesday	KS1 Head teacher-led Celebration of the Word
Wednesday	KS2 Head teacher-led Celebration of the Word
Thursday	Morning prayer/hymn practice (alternate weeks)
Friday	Mass/adoration KS1 staff-led Celebration of the Word

 On days where pupils do not participate in a whole school/key stage act of worship, class teachers will lead a collective worship in class.
